The PhD programme support offers a full-time opportunity that runs between August 1, 2021 and June 30, 2024. The position is funded for 34 months. The funding that comes through the Food Local Agricultural and Nutritional Diversity (FoodLAND) project is from European Union through Horizon 2020. The PhD scholarship that includes a stipend for 34 months will be awarded to the successful applicant to research on topics aligned to the FoodLAND project.

Scholarship  One: PhD Student in Applied Human Nutrition

Study subject: Applied Human Nutrition

 

Qualifications: Master’s degree in Applied Human Nutrition and related fields from a recognized university. Must have a BSc degree in Food Nutrition and Dietetics or in Human Nutrition from a recognised university. Preferably with interest in therapeutic and supplementary innovations targeting children and/or diabetic adults.

 

Scholarship Two: PhD Student in Food Science and Technology

 

Study subject: Food Science and Technology

 

Qualifications: Masters degree in Food Science,  Food Safety and related fields from a recognized university. Must have a BSc degree in Food Science and Technology and related fields from a recognised university. Preferably with interest in food related innovations and processing along the value chain and aligned to the FoodLAND project.
