Latest News in Special Student Advisor

Six bright and needy students have benefited from the 2017 Rotaract Club of Nairobi Scholarships.  Speaking during the meeting Special Students Advisor Prof. Godfrey Muriuki urged more needy students to come forward and apply for these scholarships. He however noted that the scholarships were only considering the regular students. All parallel students who had applied were disqualified.

Students from needy backgrounds will benefit from a 60 million education scholarship from Rattansi Educational Trust to support their university education. This was revealed today 19th December 2016 when the Education Trust led by the Chancellor Dr. Vijoo Rattansi paid a courtesy call on the Vice Chancellor Prof. Mbithi.

A total of 20 students drawn from the six colleges have benefitted from the Chinese Ambassador Scholarship. The scholarships amounting to 20 million shillings were awarded to the deserving students by the Chinese Ambassador to Kenya, H.E. Liu Xianfa in a ceremony held at UON on November 14, 2016.
