UoN admits 10,000 first years for 2022/2023 Academic year
The University of Nairobi has admitted 10,000 students. 6,000 Module I, of whom were placed by KUCCPS and all have gone through the required processes including document verification and biometrics and 4,000 Module II students.
The first years physically reported on Monday, 19th September 2022.The University will take them through a week long orientation and registration to Sunday, September 25, 2022.
Each faculty and campus will take its first years through orientation. The Vice Chancellor’s address will be on Thursday, 22nd September 2022 from 2.30pm at Taifa Hall.
During his live address on Friday, September 16, 2022, The Vice Chancellor welcomed the students and assured them of the preparedness of the UoN community to receive them. He also announced some important dates for first years to take note, “All students who wish to change from one program to another, the Inter and Intra faculty transfer portal will be opened as from 26th September to 9th October 2022.”
Prof. Stephen Kiama urged the university fraternity to support the freshmen as they adapt and settle in their new environment.
